I did my second run of this training program and it felt really good. I took a slightly different route and had to finish up a massive hill to get back home, but it felt good to push hard at the end of a run. As an added bonus, I didn’t have to run on an arterial and breathe exhaust fumes the whole time. I can’t wait to be back in the city and be able to run in a park. I absolutely loved running on the green belt trails a block behind the house but after two sprained ankles and Lord only knows what I did to my knee, I’ll stick to walking the gravel trails.
